I received a polarized 4.7 uF electrolytic in the kit. The instructions call for a non-polarized. There are square and round soler pads on the PCB. Should I orient the cap as usual? It also looks like the schematic call for a 47nF in the C11 position. Comments please, and thanks

Sounds to me like the schematic just hasn't caught up to the capacitor change in that kit. I'll mention it to Nick, who manages these things. As a rule of thumb, when there are disagreements between the documentation and what's printed on the PCB, go with the PCB....unless the instructions specifically say to do something else. And, yes, I'd just install that 4.7uf cap as normal for a polar cap.
