Hey there! So I've recently built the soaring skillet, and while my LED lights lit up, the pedal would not pass signal at all. It also would not generate the noise necessary to calibrate the phase voicing, etc...

Couple of things right off the bat - the kit did not ship with all the necessary resistors (was short about 3-4) so I borrowed a few from a friend to complete the build and they were the larger sized (1/4 watt?). Not sure if that necessarily makes a difference since the color bands were the same value. I also did not use sockets for the ICs and soldered them straight to the board.

I've attached pictures of the PCB how it was attached to the enclosure and then I removed it, desoldered some wires and took photos of the top and bottom for greater detail.

Anyone have some ideas? Thanks!

Highly likely that the problem is related to the quality of your soldering, which is questionable, at best. I would start by following the guidelines here: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=52188
