There's no clock, but I got a tick, with a fart at the beginning of it's cycle? Other than that, it sounds and operates great. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Did you modify any component values?

Was this one of our kits or did you source the parts yourself, particularly the JFETs?

I have since;
Swapped out the opamps, replaced the JFET's with a set from pedal parts kits, (2N5952, yes, I was aware of the pinout change), the 10uf electro, No change. It does get lower when I put the lid on. Is this suggesting a grouding issue? Does the circuit emit an amount of noise?
Thanks
:)

Sometimes, a TL022 can help with the ticking. I’d I’m remembering correctly, that circuit uses 3 opamps.

Six single op amps, actually. I suppose three duals would work, but that's not how the BYOC PCB is designed.

Don't know if it could cause what you're hearing, Jeff, but that 4-9 jumper on the footswitch looks like it runs awfully close to the 8 lug.

You obviously don't want to use a battery, but have you tried it with a battery?

You might want to try pulling one end of the r11/22k feedback resistor to isolate that and see if the regen is causing the problem.

You might want to try pulling one end of the R12/150k wet mix resistor to isolate that and see it the problem is in the wet signal, or it's something more globally associated with the bias supply.
