Hello all,

I checked a lot of the troubleshooting and tips sections. Unfortunately, a lot of the links are 404 errors and not found.

I'm hoping to get some feed on my confidence booster build. This is my first time soldering and I'm really interested in the hobby!

It seems to work for the most part. When I turn the trimpot I can hear the volume going up and down and my guitar is going through. There is a loud static/buzzing occurring at the same time. Would this be due to bad connection to my input/output jacks? Sounds like maybe a bad ground connection. I'm not too sure. I know I left a lot of pigtails on there and I plan on going back and cleaning those up.Thanks!

I've attached some pictures. Thanks for the help!

Go back and reflow all of your solder joints and secure your in tip a little more, plot looks like it doesn't actually go in to the board, overall looking good for a first time.

+1 to everything Jimi said. Also, the solder connection to the output jack looks like it could be loose.

Additionally, you can expect some extra static/noise with any build that is not shielded in side an enclosure.
