Hi there,
I was just wondering does anyone have a photo of the back of the Confidence Boost circuit board? Thanks so much!

From the thread immediately preceding yours, here's a nice shot of the back of the Confidence Booster PCB posted by "mathias":

Thanks so much, sorry I should have been more specific. I was looking for one pre-build so I could see the traces clearly I have a feeling my build spilled over a trace but it's really hard to tell. Thanks very much.

Hmmm, the PCB traces on the above photo are pretty clear! What specifically did you have a question about?

I couldn't tell if one of the legs of R2 was connected to the trace next to it but I think I figured out it wasn't. I was just trying to solve a problem I was having with the circuit. The pedal wasn't working so I wondered if it was that. I have since worked out that I had two resistors switched around. I switched them and that made the pedal work but it's fairly distorted (which I don't think is because the amp is driving harder). Through going over the troubleshooting post I discovered the voltage of the transistor leg E only has a voltage of .05 and Leg 3 of the Op Amp is 1.97 so now I'm trying to work it out why that is. It's not a bad sound but I think must have done something wrong. Apologies I'm new to this, sorry for the dumb questions.

The top legs of R1 and R2 are connected--you can see that on the CB schematic.

What is the DC voltage on pin 8 of the op amp? That should be about 1 volt lower than your power source voltage.

Thanks. Yeh it was the bottom leg of R2 I wasn't sure about. Pin 8 is 8.16.

That looks right.

Thanks Duhvoodooman. Transistor leg E only has a voltage of .05 and Leg 3 of the Op Amp is 1.97. These are much lower than in the troubleshooting post so I was trying to solve that. Cheers.
