This question comes up a lot, so this post will "stickify" it.

Here's a diagram of how to wire up a BYOC Confidence Boost into an enclosure and make a full pedal out of it, courtesy of Nick at BYOC. Requires the following additional parts:

  • enclosure (duh!)
  • stereo jack (input)
  • mono jack (output)
  • 3PDT footswitch
  • 100K audio taper pot
  • DC adapter jack
  • 9V battery snap (optional)
  • 5mm LED (your color choice)
  • 4.7Kohm current-limiting resistor for LED
