Build Your Own Clone Message Board

I got it together,,, in off mode guitar signal passes through fine,, with it on light aluminates , but only noise is if volume knob is wide open and guitar strummed hard a soft scratchy tone is heard.... if I pull the 9v plug and plug it back in I get a clear half volume tone that quickly fades in approx.3 seconds..... I have triple checked ALL components and soldering... and wiring...…. I will post a few pics in the morning.....

oh boy,,,,,,,,,, what a blunder I made...…………. yup...….. had the IC's swapped...…… for some reason I was thinking they were identical chips...……. so it was a 50/50 shot of getting it right...…. welp….. nope...….. got em swapped and it works fine...….
