Hello - I’m having the exact same problem as the poster from this thread (and the thread linked therein).
http://www.byocelectronics.com/board/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=59126Engaging the effect lights the LED but the volume drops a little bit. The volume knobs seems to work in reverse. The bass and treble pots and the cut switch don't seem to do anything. Reflowed all soldered connections, triple checked everything. I swapped and reseated the ICs to no avail. I noticed the other threads asked for voltage readings on the IC; so here are mine:
Top:
1: 2.40V and drops
3: 8.82V
4: 0V
5: 0V
6: 4.63V
7: 2.86V and drops
8: 9.35V
Bottom:
1: 2.38V and drops
3: 8.82V
4: 0V
5: 0V
6: 4.63V
7: 3.83V and drops
8: 9.34V
