I may be going blind, but I can't find any guidance on how to set the trimpot on the Ge Treble Boost Module. Does that mean it's 100% to taste? Any suggestions on where to set it?

Thanks!

Yeah, just use your ear and set it wherever it sounds best to you. I generally turn the trimmer to halfway and then tweak from there. The guidance is usually "adjust for the cleanest, least gated sound", but personal preference rules!

The trimpot in this circuit is part of a voltage divider that helps to set the bias of the transistor. Most of the time a trimpot is placed at R2 (68K) in this circuit rather than R1. R1 typically has been a fixed resistor of 470K, which is about half the value of the 1M trimpot. That is why starting with the trimpot at about half is a good place to start.

One could also use a multimeter to check the Collector Voltage on the transistor. With the module powered up, the collector leg of the transistor should measure -7V or +2V depending upon how it is referenced (to ground or to +9V). You can adjust the trimpot to the "correct" value (usually 6.9V to 7.1V). Or you can simply tune it to ear.
