Hi

Like the title says I think that’s my issue. Everything works as expected in bypass but when engaged even though the signal sounds boosted it sounds really bad…volume and treble control appear to function as expected. I let the smoke out of my 7660S….I just know it…it’s hot and has that smell.

Here are my IC readings in VDC using a Fluke 77 DMM…please note, none of my readings were negative :

7660S
1) 9.12
2) 0.98
3) 0.00
4) 0.41
5) 1.47
6) 4.80
7) 5.51
8) 9.12

TL072CP
1) 4.57
2) 4.57
3) 3.52
4) 1.48
5) 4.57
6) 4.57
7) 4.57
8) 8.20

Yeah, looks like it to me, too. You should be seeing negative voltages on pins 4 & 5 of the 7660S, as well as pin 4 of the op amp. Please contact sales@buildyourownclone.com and ask for a replacement.
