In the instructions no wires are to be connected to the tip of the out jack. Two wires are connected to the sleeve of the out jack. Can somebody confirm that the instructions are correct?

The first "Wiring" diargram needs to be corrected. The tip of the output jack gets connected to lug 8 of the 3PDT stomp switch.
