I couldn't find this on the forum so I thought I would ask. I want to do the buffer bypass mod for the wah so does it go like this???

-no jumper from the x and y eyelets.
-solder the 0Ω resistor below the XYZ eyelets.
I think I have this part correct.

What about the 0Ω resistor below the .1µF cap? does this resistor need to be soldered to the board?

Keith has all the mods for the wah at the last page of the instructions.

I think I see where Leader is coming from. The instructions for the mod are slightly confusing. From reading it myself, I can't tell if your supposed to include or exclude the Zero ohm resistor. The need for the jumper seems quite clear, however.

Whenever I mod a friends crybaby I replace the zero ohm resistor with a jumper saying it's a "tonal secret"

Yea exactly. I don't know what to do about the 0Ω resistors I mentioned.

I thought you left the zero resistor in and the switch acts as the jumper, switching the buffer in and out.

By turning the buffer volume trim pot a little higher than my normal guitar output. When I flip the switch there is a slight boost in volume.

I get it now. I usually have a good sense of humor but I guess this one flew right past me.
