Hey there!

I've got another problem on my octave divider.
It has been working perfectly sinc I built it! But last week, I've changed the bs170 (led wasn't working anymore)

And now I've got another problem.
Sometimes when I switch ON the pedal, I got a sound rampe (like audio tube warming up) but them I only got a weak and crunchy like an old radio sound!

but sometimes it works perfectly!

I think it could be a condenser, may I be right? And if it's, wich one would you make me check first? (they all looks good on the surface ...)
If someony has any idea, he'd be welcome!

Thank you vers much, and have a nice day :)

Sounds like a cold solder joint. Got pictures?

Hello guys!

So I think I've solved the problem! (need to enclose the pcb before getting fixed, but out-of-the-bos everything works perfectly)
So I've changed the condenser I tought was dead, I've modded the R31 for more octave up, and I've re-heaten a lot of solder points especially all the wire and the footswitch, and the problem seems gone!

I hope it will be allright in the future, I really LOVE this pedal and it's a lovely part of my live sound!

Thank you for the tip, and have a nice day!!

Condenser? What condenser? Do you mean resistor or capacitor?
