is there any way to build a pedal that gives you the effect of a wah pedal that is just left in one position? it would have a knob that controls the sweep. i think this would be a great pedal to have, and would really appreciate any help. thanks.

you can just build the wah into a regular enclosure and use a regular pot to control the sweep.

i am kind of new to this so bear with me as i do not know how to do that.

all you would be doing different would be mounting it in a 'normal' box. you could even use the big old wah pot for adjusting. just stomp the switch to bring in your own pre-set sound.

as for the Keeley pedal - all you would need is a second stomp switch that selects between two pots. would all be pretty straightforward too. be a nice first build for someone...

oh, and i guess you would want some LEDs in too... search around the forums and you will find plenty of messages about adding a LED to a wah...
