Hello.

Can anyone tell me how I must connect the trim pots? There are 5 pads and the pins of my trimpots are too close to be connected like the potentiometer mod, and I'm supposing that the only difference between trim pots and potentiometers is that the first ones go on the board, and the second ones go out of the shell.

Thank you.

Javi Six Strings.

The 5 solder pads (only 3 of which are actually used) allow for trim pots with different pin spacings to be used. Some trimmers have close pin spacings while others have wider pin spacings. You will only use a trim pot OR a panel mount pot. You can’t install both at the same time. Just make sure you connect the external pot’s lugs to the correct solder pads.

At least I think that’s what you are asking. Correct me if I’ve misread your post.

You've answered my question! Thank you!

And if you let me, I've another question... Can you redirect me to the post where the wiring of the 3PDT without led is shown? I've seen so many posts but I'm not sure whats it's the correct one. I just want the wiring for a true bypass with this switch, and I've also read that the wiring of the 3PDT in BYOC instructions isn't true bypass..

Thank you Stephen!
