Hello!

I'm trying to debug my wah with an audio probe, and my question is: If I put the probe on the base of a transistor and I get sound, should I get sound if I put the probe on the emitter or collector? And, if I don't get sound, there are any common mistakes that could make this problem happen?

Thanks in advance!

Javi.

Yes, you should.
If the transistor is used as a buffer the audio signal exits at the emitter. If it's amplifying it will be at the collector.
With the wah you have both applications. You should have signal at the collector of Q1 and the emitter of Q2.
Common errors, other than poor soldering, would be to mis-orient the transistor, lack of power (check with a multimeter) or incorrect resistor values leading to mis-bias.
An excellent article about what's going on: The Technology of Wah Pedals
