The instructions call out for (2) 2.2M resistors for positions R-7 and R-8. They are identified as (red/red/green/gold).

The two shipped with my kit, by process of elimination, are (red/red/black/yellow/purple). Are these just replacements of the same value?

yes. R/R/BL/Y/BR (might look purple, but is actually brown) is 2.2M
