Goodmorning everyone, few months ago I've built the WAH! It sounds really good end i'm satisfied, but I have a problem.
I have noticed that the battery will discharge in two, three days, also if i don't use it. I'm pretty sure that during this time it is turn-off and the true by-pass is ok (the sound isn't influeced by the wah). I've found in the other topic but i haven't read notting about this problem.
Could someone help me? Thanks!
Ps: i use a Duracell rechargeable batteries (9V)

Did you unplug the cables when you're not using it? Even commercial wahs will discharge a battery if the cables are plugged in during down time.

No, i'm not! It's possible that it's only this? Why it happens though the wah is true by-pass? It happens only for the wah?
Thanks for the answers!! :D :D

The BYOC Wah, like the vast majority of their pedals, is wired such that the battery is disconnected if (1) there is no cable inserted into the input jack, or (2) there is an adapter plug inserted in the DC jack. This is a very common mode of wiring to allow extending battery life when the pedal is not being used.

True bypass has no bearing on the power consumption. True bypass is when the audio signal comes in, goes right over the switch and back out, basically anyway. There's more to it, but that's the basics.

You can check out the details on how true bypass switching works here: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=6525

Sorry, I said that badly. I know true by-pass, but I thought that in this case also disconnecting the battery to happen through the switch, but i've see again the scheme and you have reason. Thanks for the answers!
