Hey there,

Finished the drop in wah kit into a dunlop shell. it works mighty fine, and sounds great for the most part. I'm having trouble dialing it in to stay clean. I'm playing a les paul into multiple tube and solid state amps. when i play up on the neck on the lower strings, i get distortion and mushing out. i've been tweaking knobs and may be hitting burnout.

To address this, should i be lowering the gain of the pedal and upping the buffer volume? or lower the buffer and up the gain to maintain volume. i feel like i've done both from subtle to extreme and i haven't hit a happy spot yet. i've also tried dropping the bass, but then the wah sounds too thin. any suggestions would be helpful.

thanks
