Can anyone tell me some more about this divided Octave build. It looks like it is an Octave down pedal, with the ringer switch for an Octave up. Yes? Can I use it as an Octave up only? The bass only footswitch isn't needed, I may bypass it. I don't know enough about what part of the circuit does what to jump out the Octave down function... Thoughts?

Suggest that you read through the last couple of pages of the Divided Octave instructions to see how the pedal works. Your summary statement is correct--it's an octave down pedal with the ability to add in an octave up. But the octave down is always active.

Yeah, Thanks. I'm all over that. I don't think this is going to work for me unless I can eliminate the down Octave circuit. I'm reading up on which IC does what and if the high Octave can even exist without the low one?.... Hmmmm

I don't understand why you wouldn't just go with an octave up circuit rather than to mess around with one that's clearly not designed for that primary purpose. There are plenty of these octave-up (a.k.a. ring modulator) circuits around. We've already discussed the CJ Octave Up module, but there are other stand-alone circuits available. And if it's a dry/wet blend capability that you need, these circuits are available, too. Here's one of each over at GuitarPCB.com that could be integrated together:
