Exactly what I was referencing when I said it was designed to run on 9VDC. Further, the datasheet for those BA3812L IC's shows a max. P/S voltage of 16V, so I wouldn't try running it on 18V.

Very reasonable estimates, probably on the conservative (high) side but certainly in the ballpark. And its a purely analog pedal, while the big current drawers are the digital circuits.
