I had some issues installing. I directly soldered the op amp in first then removed and added the cradle. My competent legs are probably too long. I’ve 4x checked the solder points front and back. Checked my resistors with a voltmeter.

How exactly did you do that? I ask this because solder quality issues are BY FAR the most common cause of problems we see here, and visually, a lot of your solder joints look suspect. We often recommend that builds that don't show an obvious error (and yours doesn't, at least to my eyes) get this treatment as one of the first things to try: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=52188

Do you know how to take DC voltage measurements with your meter?

Based on the description in the title, the first place I would look for a problem is with both your foot switch and pot wiring, neither of which are clearly visible in your pics.
