This circuit is the first one I "designed" myself. It was more like "plug and pray" on a breadboard, but it ended up pretty cool. It's loud, it's compressed, it's aggressive, and it's got some fuzzy square-wave clipping along with smoother distortion-like tones.

I revised the layout a bit tonight to make it more compact and efficient. No major changes from previous versions, just tighter.

These files are provided with absolutely no support from me. Do with them as you will, but that's your business, so don't make it mine.

This layout is verified. The schematic is also included so that an enterprising youngster might make mods himself/herself. The format is Eagle CAD 5. I encourage people interested in learning Eagle to download the files and have a go at modifying things.

Anyone should build this.........also an easy perf project...........

But my point by posting here is: Swap the 1N914 for LED clippers and if by chance you have NPN Ge in the like of the OC140-141-139......slap them in there.........

All i can say is:
