Whipped this up this afternoon. This is more or less a modified Bazz Fuss run into a SHO. I was bored :P It sounds fantastic. A lot of distortion but still transparent enough to hear your signal clearly, almost like a slightly-meaty OD. The bass-cut switch can be swapped for a pot, but it will act more like a bass knob than a tone knob. I haven't experimented with volume yet, actually just finished this thing a few minutes ago :D The schematic is designed to accommodate a board off one of those two-piece-snap-in-half perf things from Mammoth (here's a link in case my description fell flat http://www.mammothelectronics.com/4SBRD-PRF91X45-91x45mm-Perforated-Board-p/1100-305.htm) Hence the Red cuts in the corner of the board. Sorry for the sloppy schematic. Everything is a bit spread out since the components I used were much bigger than what the layout creator shows. The traces are basically folded over component leads. Anyway, fun project if you're bored. I'll try to get a sound clip up. Basically it's comparable to an Electra but it sounds WAY better.

Next up: Buy a switch, build a box, and get this puppy really goin

Thats going to sound different with a volume pot on the end. Try a couple of different values, from 47K to 470K for starters. You might also want to get fancy and try some clipping diodes to ground between the out and the pot. Any silicon, or LED combination sym or asym's worth a go.
