Can you explain the input and output connections?

How do I I connect the stereo in and mono out?

The ground wire between the board and the output jack can be omitted if you're using an aluminium enclosure (they'll be connected via the box.)
Also, although the switch wiring shown works, i'd recommend using the method shown last in Stephen's Excellent Mechanical Bypass Tutorial
