Hey Guys,

I wanted a buffer/splitter, so used the schematic found here on AMZ: http://www.muzique.com/lab/splitter.htm to do a layout (schematic below). I used 2N5457's as I have a lot of the buggars

I've built mine, and it works great; does just the job. I'll post build pics later.

I included pads to switch two of the outputs to ground; I wired them to a 3PDT with an LED indicator as a handy mute. The other output (which I use for my tuner) is always active, so you can mute your signal when tuning up etc.

The .brd and .sch Eagle files can be found attached below.

I also found Jack Devilles Op-Amp based Buffer/Splitter here: http://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=4959&start=60, and I did a layout for this too.

I asked for his permission and he says he would be happy for all of us to use his schematic and design.

.brd and .sch files are attached below. Please note I have not yet built up this design, but I am sure it will work fine, and I have added it to my next DorkBot PCB order (which means I will also have 2 PCB's spare).

I hope you guys find either of them handy, and take your pic on which one to use!

Cheers!

Steve.

Hey guys,

I have uploaded a PCB layout for the AMZ JFET Buffer+Splitter to OSH park (called it the Buff Station).

I use my own build all the time; I find it incredibly useful in all sort of scenarios.

You can now order your own PCB's for this circuit.

Order it here:

Cheers dude!

I just realized I didn't include an LED for Mute status on the PCB.

Give me a bit and I'll update the PCB+ Schematic.

Okay, I have uploaded the latest version to OSH park.

This includes a Mute indicator LED.

Also, as requested, see the wiring diagram below.

Note: There are plenty of GND connections on the PCB, so there are a lot of options on how you can wire this up.
