First off I'd like to give thanks to JOK3RX and all the other folks involved with getting this going. Here's a link:
http://www.madbeanpedals.com/forum/inde ... ic=11561.0

This is an SMT Amptweaker Tight Metal clone minus the FX loops. It features board-mounted pots and fits in a 1590B box. If you have no SMT experience this may not be the place to start. It will run on 9-18v supply. I've only run mine on 18v but I understand it sounds great at 9v as well.

This is the first design I've put out for out public consumption. I think I've got all the build docs in order and I have had them reviewed. However, if I've missed something let me know.

All caps are MLCC. Yeah, could've saved some money using electro's for the higher value caps, but they just aren't as cool (or small).
All resistors are thick film.

Build Docs: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5cosaq03moatv ... 20Docs.zip

My build: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=47517

The "Chomp" switch is mislabeled on my build. The labeling on the drill template is correct.

You're looking at about $19 for 3 of these boards. Enjoy and good luck.

Anyone know of any thru hole board for this? JOK3RX hasn't shared one that isn't diy etched yet it seems.

Chuck, do you have a mouser project/cart for this smd-terror project I might just try it :)

I still haven't seen a TH layout for this. I did one but never verified as I didn't want to pay the $ when I already had a working one. I've done one TH layout for a BMP multi-muff that didn't work out so well. Mostly spacing issues between components and a few wrong sized components (I don't do much TH) so I don't have a lot of faith in the layout for this. If you want I can send you my Eagle files and you can make any necessary changes. I just converted my SMD schematic to TH so I know that the schematic is verified.

I don't have a Mouser project for the SMD version. But if you really want to go that route I could put something together.

Protos sent to OSH Park, thank you so much Mark!
And wish me luck

I'm gonna be naughty and use 1/4W resistors standing up inplace of 1/8W resistors, cuz I already have all the values needed in 1/4W size.
Thanks to Marks excellent layout this will work in a 1590B and up, if it works

Hell yeah! Good luck, man. It should be fine (I need a "fingers-crossed" smiley right about now).
