I am using a ultimate fuzz on my bass. Any suggested mods to make it more bass friendly?

nearly all dirt pedals have input and output caps that can be changed to affect low end. Large values equal more bottom those are disgusted in the boards fuzz folder.

Where does one go to learn about selecting and or getting caps?
The instructions for this unit states:
Replace the 2.2uf input cap with the .047uf film cap if you want the bass cut mod. The
.047uf cap is not polarized so it can go in either way.

Is that what you are refering to?

The 2.2uf is in there, I will contact the original builder/ owner to see if he still has the .047uf.

You don't want a lower input cap because that will cut the bass (he calls it bass CUT mod for a reason). Sometimes guitar dirt pedals have 0.047 caps that cut bass and then you can put in bigger ones like a 0.1 1.0 or 2.2 like yours has.

So from what I read and my newbe brain can comprehend:
If I want to try to fuzz up some lower frequencys I can replace (increase the value) the input and/ or output caps.
I already have a 2.2uf cap for the input . If I replace the 2.2uf cap with one even higher will get more low end? Any suggestions on a value?

or would it be worth a try to increase the output cap first? If so the drawings are not clear which cap is the output.

"Id try to up the input cap to 22uf and the output cap to a 1uf"

I would like more info.
Can someone help me find sources and specs for the caps noted above?
I searched thru small bear's website and they do not seem to have 22 uf caps.
I also do not know which type to order. (metal film, mica caps, ceramic ....................... etc.)
Is voltage anouther spec. I should be looking at?
