Just finished my Champlifier build, and the startup procedure checked out! Waiting for this cold to hold up so i can build a cabinet. Aside from some missing hardware, the build seems to have gone well. I used belton sockets instead, and moved the output jack due to a d-lab suggestion in one of his videos. I'll also be changing the mains wiring so it hits the fuse first.

A quick question about the heater wires. Instead of shielding the inputs and possibly other wires, why not just shield the heater wires themselves?ImageImageImage

Nope - due to the nature of ac cycle hum, twisting the wires provides better rfi rejection than using shielded cable.
