Sounds great on both settings until ~10 minutes...is this "tweed disease"?

Nope, no such thing. Sounds like you have a connection or a component that gets wonky after it warms up for a while. You might want to try GENTLY tapping on each of the tubes once it's warmed up to see if you can make the amp crackle more. If so, replace that tube. If not, post back here.

Tube swap and bending one of the heater pins away from adjacent pin cured it!!!!
