 Post subject: Stereo jack?

Another noob here. Why is there a stereo jack with the OD 2 kit I just got. Is this a stereo output?

The stereo jack is used for the input. The ring connection of the jack is the ON/OFF switch for the battery. To conserve battery life you must pull the plug from the input jack to break the connection.
