Build Your Own Clone Message Board

Trying to put together my first build after the confidence booster. I like to breadboard my circuits first so I can really get to understand and play with them before committing them to the PCB. But, there are two schematic I've found, and they don't agree. The one in the build instructions PDF has an unlabeled/unvalued resistor attached to pin 3 of the op-amp. Tracing the pcb, it looks like it should be a 1M resistor? The other schematic posted in the schematic sticky has the pins reversed on the +/- of the op amp. Also, it has no 4.5 volt connection to the op-amp.

I just don't want to fry my op-amp, any suggestions?
