Well I'm not bad at soldering, and I took a methodical, check at least twice and solder once approach. Took my time, was ultra careful... But I can't get it to work. I photographed it at each stage of the build in case I had bother.

All photos clickable for bigness.

All components present and correct

Everything pre-pots...

Pots, switches and LEDs on, with plenty of clearance underneath and nothing touching

Jacks and footswitches on

Now the only thing I haven't fitted is the PSU jack, as I planned to paint the case and that screws on the back rather than the front. But I would have thought that wouldn't have caused any issues...? Other than that, plug it all in and nothing.... Initially not even a signal passed through, but press the overdrive footswitch and I get pass-through. No LEDs, no nothing. I'm hoping I've just done something stupid, but I can't see what it is... Probably for looking. Pedal has been built to the standard build in the OD2 manual.

Help! :(

and

Hi!

The power, even when running on a battery, still routes through the AC adapter jack. This is necessary for the function of the jack's mechanical disconnect of the battery to preserve its life, when you're running off an AC adapter. So without it installed, your pedal is getting no power. Wire the AC adapter jack in and I'll bet she'll fire right up for you.

Very clean build, BTW, and your solder technique looks exemplary. And I wish everybody with a problem would post such comprehensive & excellent quality photos. Thanks for making it easy to help....
