 Post subject: Mighty Mouse problem..

When bypassed, sound is fine, but when i turn it on its very quiet, When i was installing the Chip, the end of one of the feet broke off, but it still went in, whats up?

also, i cant really tell a difference when i flip the switch

Just the end broke off? Do you have a solid connection to the PCB with the broken leg?
The Mouse has a lot of level so something is up (sorry i can't be more specific, wrong resistor value somewhere?)
As far as the switch settings try turning your gain to about noon, the differences should be more perceptible (gain full up sound is somewhat similar)

yea it was a cold joint in the switch, i got it under control..
