I purchased a Silver Pony from Alchemy Audio and cannot get it to power on or create any type of signal. When I attach the battery to test the power, the battery gets very warm very quickly. Where did I go wrong? Any help would be appreciated!

A warm battery is a sure sign of a power short to ground somewhere in the pedal. Inspect the build carefully (both sides of the PCB and all of the wiring), looking for solder bridges between eyelets not already connected with a trace on the board, and for stray wire strands. Fix any such defects you find.

Perhaps you should clarify you purchased a Silver Pony kit from us. We did not build that. Thanks.
