Hi, guys !
I'm French, so please forgive my bad english !
My CJ V1.0 works fine except the "first" position. I mean, it's a great pedal and the "Last" position is wonderful, but it'd be great to taste it fully.
The things I've done :
- overall solder check and desolder/resolder the on on boost switch (didn't tested it because it's pretty hard to put off completely)
- jumper through the i/o holes : ok, boost works as a simple volume pot in last position, nothing in first
- four modules works too in last and don't in first
- check the implementation of the IC's, trannies, diods, capacitors, etc...

I think i missed something, and need some help
Here are some photos ! Thanks for your help

Which boost module are you using? Without a module plugged in you will hear nothing if you enable boost (by pressing the boost footswitch).

Thanks for your answer.
Octave up and LPB.
Sorry, I was tired yesterday and didn't explain very well.. the modules are working fine, but only in last. There is no sound when in first. I know that it's normal having no sound when nothing's plugged in.
The switch may be defective ?? My kit came last week, so it seems impossible to me... moreover, it's hard to remove and hard to find another one on the Internet. Does someone have a reference ? My favourite on-line shop doesn't have this model
Actually, I hope someone will see my mistake(s) while I'm too blind to see

Does the overdrive section of the pedal work in both the First and Last switch positions?

No, it doesn't. And the bypass doesn't too, when the switch is "first". But both are working when "last " is engaged

OK, let me makes sure I understand what you're saying: NOTHING (overdrive, boost or both bypassed) works when the effect order switch is in the "First" position, but EVERYTHING works when it's in the LAST position?

Well, if both effects circuits work on the "Last" setting, then we know they're OK. And since the pedal passes clean signal in "Last" mode when both footswitches are in bypass, the relays are working. So it looks like the problem must be at the First/Last switch--either a bad solder joint on one of the three switch lugs closest to the outside (see marked up photo below) or the footswitch itself is faulty. Try re-soldering those three lugs and see if that fixes the problem. If not, then you should test the switch itself. Do you have access to a multimeter and know how to measure continuity with one?

Thanks for your answer. Yes, i've got a multimeter and know how to test a 3pdt switch. I'll let you know the results during the week-end.
In case of a broken switch, do you know the reference and/or brand of this one ? If I need to order another one, I got to be sure :)

Don't worry about it. If the switch is wonky, send an email to sales@buildyourownclone.com and we'll take care of you.

Hi !
It's ok now : I just received the switch and soldered it. It works, thank you guys and thank you BYOC for the support.
Just tried the Octavia module in first and last position : seems like changing the switch "upgraded" the sound too... Marvellous !
I've just built an univibe clone (this one : https://www.musikding.de/Forum-Vibe-Vintage-kit), that's incredible combined to the Octave module : Jimi's here :)

See ya !
