Hi folks.

Just finished my first two builds (Classic OD and the ESV Fuzz Germanium version). Here's the situation: The pedals work individually, but when I put them both on the daisy chain for my OneSpot power supply I get a consistent "clicking" sound and no output when either pedal is switched "on". Again, they work when individually powered (as in, the OD works when the Fuzz is unplugged from the daisy chain, and the Fuzz works when the OD is unplugged from the daisy chain), but when both are on the daisy chain I get nothing but a steady clicking sound that is present when I should be getting a "clean" signal and I only get the clicking sound when either pedal is switched "on".

The chain is simple. Guitar -> Fuzz -> OD -> amp. Nothing else going on right now. Are these pedals incompatible with each other in some way? Is there an easy fix for me?

Thanks in advance.

"The only thing you cannot do with a positive ground pedal is use a daisy chain power supply (such as the 1-Spot) with other negative ground pedals. You can use a daisy chain power supply, but all the pedals that share that daisy chain must all be positive ground as well."

Your best bet would be to get an isolated supply for the Ge Fuzz. It can be a second 1-Spot, with the same tip-negative adapter, but it will have to be by itself.

A 9V battery is also a good option. As long as you remove the cable from the input jack when not in use, they last a long time with the ESV Fuzz.

I agree. I actually like to use 9v batteries that measure around 6v or 7v (or I use a dying battery rig I made) a la Duane Allman.
