I've been working on this crown jewel for the past few days and thought I had finished it- until i plugged it in and got no sound. When it's bypassed, my guitar signal passes through to the amp. Each footswitch activates its respective LED. When i click on the right footswitch, no sound passes through.

Edit: still trying to get a photo of the other side of the board of a file size that will happily attach

Please take voltage readings of your op amps.

Your wiring doesn't look good. It may be working for now, but don't be surprised if they start to fray and break while you're trouble shooting.

Something is off with the bias voltage to IC4b. If there's something wrong with the voltage divide at R13/14, C10 then you wouldn't get any signal past Q5 either. Reflow your solder joints in these areas (lower left corner). Double check to make sure you have the correct resistor values in place as well.

ok well this is embarrassing. I had R7 and R13 mistaken for each other. (I had a REALLY hard time even with a lighted magnifying lens identifying some of the color bands on the resistors) Now they're both in the correct locations. While I was at it, I reflowed the whole lower left corner, and then retested the voltages for IC4b and got the following:
1= 4.2v
2= 4.2v
3=4.3v
4=0.0v
5=4.3v
6=4.3v
7=4.3
8=8.5v

I plugged it back in and it worked in that there was clearly a drive effect happening. I didn't play with the controls at all, since the whole thing is out of the enclosure. My next step is to redo all the wiring to make it a little more sound, especially since I can get to both sides of the board. Thanks Keith for your help in locating the problem. Once it's wired up, back in the enclosure, and I have a chance to mess around a bit, I'll report back.

You're better off, especially with these small 1/8 W resistors, actually measuring each of them with a multimeter.

Yep, those values are right on the money now!

I didn't think of it until keith pointed out the issue but I will definitely do this in the future!
