The pedal works, but not how I have come to expect BYOC pedals (I’ve built several).
The LED is very dim when on.
The tone control has very little effect and is on the bassier side.
The volume is at parity almost at full on.
The Drive works and sounds nice.

I’ve attached photos for another set of eyes. (These resisters are hard to read with my tired old eyes)

Thanks…..Joe

You swapped the 4k7 and 470k resistors. Fix that and see how it is.

Looks like you've swapped the 4.7K and 470K resistors at R1 and R19. See labeled PCB diagram below. Fix those and see if things are working normally.

EDIT: Looks like Nick & I agree!

P.S. Outstanding photos for troubleshooting the problem! Wish everyone posted pics of this quality!

You guys are the greatest!!!
Swapped the two resistors and presto......works great, sounds great.

I think next time, I will take photos of the resistors and sort them by the blow ups.

Thanks bunches...........

This is an ingenious idea! (Of course you will eventually want a multimeter and can then measure them to be certain, but in the meantime…)
