Hey guys,

Put together a Green Pony and there's no LED clipping. The signal sounds exactly the same as when the switch is in "none."

Things I've tried:
- swapping the switches to see if one is faulty (same issue after swap)
- reflowing all joints
- swapping op amps

All knobs work and I get drive in Si mode.

Thoughts?

The LED clipping is very subtle, on my GP it takes using Fat mode at high gain (three quarters and up) to really hear it. The Si clipping is more audible at slightly lower gain settings.

With gain on 10, in fat mode, there is no difference between "none" and "LED"

+1. LEDs have a very high forward voltage threshold, generally in excess of 2.0V, so it takes a strong signal before they start to clip. Either run the gain setting up high, or run a boosted signal into the pedal. Humbuckers help, too.
