Is the DS-1 Marshall mod where you put 2 IN4148 in series in D4 and 2 IN4001 in series in D5 the same as the clipping mod? If so, do I put the 2 IN4148 in the leftmost spots where the 4 diodes go and the 2 IN4001 in the rightmost spots, or the other way around? Thanks in advance!

You're gonna need to link to this marshall mod.

It makes absolutely no difference which is D4 and which is D5 because they are in parallel. The way you described in your original post will work just fine.

Hey, I'm here looking for help with the clipping diode mod. I'd like to stack the diodes, but not sure what that means...
But I originally built it with the Marshall Stack mod, which I understood as simply using 2 red LED's as the diodes for the 4 spots together. one in the left set with a jumper next to it and the same for the other spots. I like it, and a year later want to stack em, whatever that means it will sound like. haha. But what you were talking about with a Marshall mod that Doesn't include a red 3mm LED???? HUH?

If you want to put another clipping device in series (or "stack"), then you just simply replace the jumper. Just replace one jumper if you want asymmetrical. Both if you want symmetrical. If you're using an LED, make sure the long lead goes in the square eyelet (striped end [cathode]).

Hey, It's Keith! What's up fine sir? That's what I did. from the led in to another diode, it sounded great with just the red led, but let's see how this sounds. Thanks.
