Hello, this is my first build. Two problems.
1. I am getting no sound when I put the boost channel on (with or without the drive channel).
2. It is really noisey. Might be a grounding issue as it gets quieter when I touch the box. I am using a portal power all power source. I haven't tried a 9volt.

2 things I know that are wrong. First I broke a germanium diode. A new one is in the mail.
Second, lug number 7 is hardwired ( the black wire) to the middle lug. I accidentally pulled up the circuit on the PCB. But no the signal issue was there before I messed that up.

Thanks for the help.

Please provide a clearer angle of your boost footswitch wiring.

Noise is often attributed to the power supply . Please try a batter and see if that helps. If not, you'll need to clean up your PCB a bit. You've got a lot of leads that could be clipped shorter.

I just resoldered every connection. Boost circuit works. Still noisy.
I'm pretty sure there are no leads touching. On the foot switch.

Have you tried a battery?

I don't have one yet.
New problem. The clipping LEDsv aren't lighting up. I can't hear a difference between the toggle positions as well.

LEDs have a high forward voltage, which means you have to hit them with a lot of signal before they will light up. And even then, it's usually just a subtle quick flash in my experience.

Also, since the gain knob on a Klon type circuit is also a blend knob, you won't hear much clipping unless that knob is turned up quite a ways.
