First build, works in bypass, but when I click on I get nothing. Where do I start looking to see what the issue is?

The first thing you can do is to post better photos. They need to be W-A-A-A-Y-Y bigger, well-lit and well-focused so that we can see the degree of detail needed to be able to help you troubleshoot. Not everybody has the camera & skills to do this, but here's what we LOVE to see, so please get as close to this level of quality as you reasonably can: viewtopic.php?p=482910#p482910

You can post them as attachments here (1MB file size limit) or upload them to a file hosting service and post links here.

When I tried to post the high def I ran into size issues, does this look better? If not I’ll have to figure out somewhere to post and link to.

Much better. I don't see anything out of place. A photo of the solder side of the PCB would also be helpful, though.

Reflowing your solder joints is always a good place to start with problems like this. Detailed guidance here: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=52188

Do you have access to a multimeter and know how to measure DC voltages with one?

I do have a multimeter, do you happen to have a link for info on how to test with one? Also I’ll attach more photos

Yeah, I would definitely start with a reflow--I see quite a few less than great looking solder joints. Here are a couple of threads you might find helpful:

To measure DC voltage levels, set your multimeter to the DC voltage mode, indicated by a solid line above a dotted one. Use the 20VDC range setting if it's not an auto-ranging meter. Your power source needs to be connected and there needs to be a cable in the input jack. If the pedal is assembled into the metal enclosure, put the black probe into one of the corner screw bosses of the enclosure--this is your ground connection. If the "guts" are out of the enclosure, use the sleeve tab of the input jack for the ground connection. Then touch the red probe to each point that you want to measure.
