Finished the Green Pony build the other day. Worked totally fine for a couple days. Turn it on today and all I get is rumbling static. Any ideas? I can take more pics or op amp readings if needed.

Something has either come loose or your battery is dying. If it's not your battery, then try tugging on various wires.

so my charge pump started smoking when the pedal was powered on! what could cause that?

That's generally caused by an internal short in the charge pump. Contact sales@buildyourownclone.com and request a free replacement.

I had other charge pumps so I put one in. Same result. Tried another one and also replaced the electrolytic capacitors around it thinking one of them might be faulty. Not sure exactly where the problem was but it seems to be working fine now!
