The BYOC boards are nearly always salvageable unless the abuse has been extreme, which yours doesn't appear to be. However, the work involved is pretty challenging for novice builders and requires the correct tools, including a "solder sucker", good quality desoldering braid, a multimeter and a good deal of patience. A
signal tester is also a useful device. If you elect to try this yourself, we will be happy to provide guidance and answer your questions to the best of our abilities. OTOH, if you don't wish to attempt the repairs yourself, some of us here are known to do repair work on occasion (present company included--PM me if interested).
