I started a build on a Lil Mouse today. I have had the kit for around 5 years. I have the board all soldered except for 2 resistors.
I am missing 1k5/152 and 4k7/472.

Instead I have these (see attached file). They don't look like all the others as they are not a pale blue background. I was wondering if these are appropriate for an older kit such as mine, and if so, which goes where? If they aren't appropriate, where do I get the correct parts?
Thanks for any help folks,
Jeff

Those are carbon film resistors, where the blue ones are metal films. The carbons have 4 color coding bands instead of the 5 on the metal films, but they will perform equivalently in the Mouse circuit, so no worries. The one on the left is a 1K5 and the one on the right is a 4K7. You can read about how to decode the color bands here: http://byocelectronics.com/resistorcodes.pdf

Thanks for the quick answer! I don't even think my soldering iron has cooled yet :D
