Recently complete a Silver Pony 2 build. I connected a 9V power supply and I have no lights....
I do have power going throughout the board... IC chips, stomp switches. But I have no lights of effects happening.
Does anyone have any idea where to start looking?

Thanks,

Mine died minutes after I started using it two days ago. For me it was a single unclipped wire on the negative terminal of the input jack … must have touched the plug. Good luck.

Do you have sound output in both bypassed and engaged footswitch modes?

I have no output. I can hear some kind of clicking, in the speakers, when I press the stomp switches. But that's it.

OK, then we need to see photos to further assist you--they need to be LARGE, well-lit, well-focused shots of BOTH sides of the PCB and all of the jack and switch wiring. You can post them to a publicly accessible hosting site and display or link them here, or post them directly here using the forum's file attachment function (found below the main posting text box). If you use the latter, know that there is a 1 Mb size limit for image files, so it may be necessary to reduce their dimensions or their color depth to get them below that size limit. Any of a number of image editing applications will allow you to do this. I often recommend IrfanView for this purpose, since it is free and very easy to use.

Yes, those are very helpful. But we need one more photo that clearly shows the wire connections to the tabs of the two I/O jacks.

Ahh, there's the culprit! Your output jack is wired backwards, so your output signal is going to ground. Reverse those wires at the jack and see where you're at.

I'm more surprised that I missed that. I'm usually pretty good at attention to detail.
That's why I dare to build effects, amp kits and guitars.
