Hello! I accidentally plugged the wrong power into my Lil' Pony. The power light still turns on but no signal is passed when the pedal is turned on. Any ideas of where to start looking for the problem. I'm assuming I cooked a component.

Such a bummer! I love this pedal and use it often. I'm not super knowledgable with these builds but have made about 6 of them with good results. Hope I can bring this one back to life.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I think it's most likely that you fried one or more of the three IC's. I would suggest replacing all three. Don't try to desolder them from the PCB in a single piece, which is very difficult to do without damaging the board. Instead, clip all the legs between the PCB and the IC body and then desolder the legs individually and clean up the PCB eyelets with a solder sucker or with desoldering braid.

I'm looking up the replacement ICs online and noticed that there are some differences between the different ones available.

For example in the TL072 there are some that have a slew rate of 13v to 20v. Also, the gain bandwidth is varying between options of 3 to 5.25 MHz. Not sure if this makes a difference?

Thanks for any advice.

Shouldn't make any difference in this application.
