Build Your Own Clone Message Board

I'm new to the electric guitar, sort of.....44 years old, 2 kids, day job, budding craft business...played bass in a high school punk band back when punk was actually new and fresh....So if some one could give me a bit of a critique on the Mouse and its various settings it may push me over the edge to build one.

I like the sound of the dod250 but conceptually appears one dimensional. The range of tones from the Fulltone GT 500 I find more interesting. I've also tried the Seymour Duncan SFX-03, Maxon OD808 Overdrive, Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi Distortion, Fulltone Fulldrive 2 Mosfet. Im interested in a 'crisp' more defined sound than what my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe amp has....(+strat)

How does the Mouse fit in with all this....?

If you want some sonic descriptions I could provide them, but sound is a very personal matter. I recommend you to look for some videos on the MM and the rat on youtube. Even when their setups may be very different from yours, you can get and idea. "One sound is better than one thousand words".
