Build Your Own Clone Message Board

First time pedal builder. Did my initial build 3 days ago. Bypass gave me sound. When on, LED is on but no sound. Put the kit aside until today and read several similar issues on the message board. Read the post on what read before your first build. Tons of good information.

This morning. Reflowed all joints. Redid the entire footswitch. The attached images are the most recent. Right or wrong I felt great about the solders. However I am extremely receptive to feedback. Again bypass gave me sound. When on, LED is on but no sound. UNTIL...I got a moment of sweet fuzz for a second after toggling the ON-OFF-ON switch, and then it went back to no sound. I get increased signal noise when turning up the volume, fuzz, and bias. Despite working on this a total of 6+ hours I am really having fun with building. Looking forward to it working.

We need to see MUCH larger photos in order to be able to make out the degree of detail necessary to effectively help you to troubleshoot your problem. THIS POST shows the kind of shots that we love to see; we know not everybody can attain that kind of photo quality, but we ask that you try to get as close it as you can.

So I did some other small reflows and neatened things up and now it works!!! So stoked! Now to find some cool settings. Will find a way to post better images in the future.

So my pedal sounds killer. Here's the problem. Two weeks into using it the pedal went silent when I turned it on. The LED was on. I clicked it off and then back on. It worked again. So now it will go silent about every 10 clicks on. But it produces sound when the button is complete depressed even if it eventually goes silent. And then it will work again. It never goes silent twice in a row when turning on. Thoughts?

Sounds like a wonky footswitch. I'd try replacing that.
